New commercial real estate company helps local businesses and landlords

Tracy Carter has a passion for commercial real estate, which is what prompted her to launch her own company that focuses strictly on commercial leasing.

Carter, an agent with Keller Williams Realty who’s licensed in both Georgia and South Carolina, opened CSRA Commercial Spaces, LLC in early July to help businesses find buildings and landlords find tenants.

“I’ve been here for 30 years and I saw a need,” she said.

Carter said other real estate companies have commercial divisions, but she doesn’t know of another local company that doesn’t also offer residential services.

CSRA Commercial Spaces helps businesses in a variety of industries, including retail and industrial. Carter is currently helping a few churches find buildings.

“We work to fit the business’s needs,” she said.

So far, business is going so well that Carter’s had to work 12-14-hour days to keep up with it. She recently hired an assistant to help her manage her workload.

For now, Carter doesn’t have a brick-and-mortar space, but she plans to hold a ribbon cutting at the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce. She will soon have a North Carolina commercial real estate license and also owns Gimbal Realty Group, LLC.

“My biggest return is seeing the looks on people’s faces when something they envisioned comes to fruition,” Carter said.
