Harold Wright launched Wright One Paint and Body back in 2007 on Gordon Highway in South Augusta. The sale of the business is expected to close on Friday, June 2nd.
“I have been in the paint and body business for over 30 years, beginning as an estimator and manager working for other shops, but found out I was great at teaching people, which pushed me to open my own shop. Now I’ve come full circle and am ready to retire and do more things that I love,” Wright said.
“We’ve had a successful run, we’ve built great relationships, and have been able to give back to the community that we love,” said Adrian Thomas, who has run the operation since 2018.
Classic Collision has more than 200 locations nationwide, with three locations in the CSRA.
“We chose to acquire Wright One because of their high-quality repair standards and their involvement and commitment to the community,” said Classic Collision Regional Director, Tracy Bryant.
Bryant said the only change customers will notice is the name, but the great quality and customer service will continue.
“We will continue to support the community just like Harold Wright has done so well,” said Bryant. This will be our 4th location in the CSRA, and we will continue to grow in Grovetown and South Augusta. We are now the largest volume collision center in the CSRA.”
