As North Augusta dives into 2023, four area business leaders have joined the Chamber’s Board of Directors to provide leadership, and resources, and ideally, bring continued growth to the city.
The new board members include Nyles Ellefson, COO for Ellefson Transportation Group, Yvonne Meeks, Community Development Representative at SRP Federal Credit Union, Julie Orzechowski, CFO at Bailey’s Comfort Services, and Cynthia Rhodes, a mentor with SCORE and co-owner of Rhodes-Porter, a small business development management company.
Increasing business participation and providing resources for business success is the goal of any Chamber which is why Cynthia Rhodes is looking forward to the next two years as an Ex Officio Board member.
“As the mother of four daughters, I’m excited about this opportunity and connecting men and women in business to resources that can help them succeed. I embrace the opportunity,” Rhodes explained.
Aside from her experience in business development with Rhodes-Porter, Rhodes’ involvement with SCORE brings even more resources to the table.
SCORE is a community of successful entrepreneurs and business executives that offer training and educational resources to help start and grow small businesses. Their program consists of in-person and online workshops tailored to entrepreneurs at every stage of their business journey.
Rhodes hopes to create more awareness of SCORE resources for Chamber members.
