Ashley Murphy, owner of ABECA Naturals in North Augusta, enjoys helping her customers improve their health by offering a variety of natural self-care products and over-the-counter medicines.
“There is a growing need here in the community for a holistic approach to wellness, so we manufacture and sell herbal remedies, homeopathic medicine, and more,” she said.
ABECA is one of nearly 40 local businesses and non-profit organizations participating in the Fall in Love with Local Business Showcase, Thursday, 3-7 p.m. at the North Augusta Community Center, 495 Brookside Ave.
The free event will be hosted by the North Augusta Chamber of Commerce and is sponsored by several local businesses, such as Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, A. B. Beverage Co. Inc., and Budget Blinds of North Augusta.

The showcase includes a workshop and awards presentation, as well as a networking opportunity called Business After Hours. The workshop, which will be held prior to the expo, from 1:30 to 3 p.m., will help attendees polish their public speaking skills and develop an elevator pitch.
Four Best in Business/Community Impact Awards will be presented to businesses of various sizes, ranging from microbusinesses with fewer than 10 employees to large businesses with 100 or more employees.
“The Small Business Showcase is an opportunity for our community to learn more about the entrepreneurs and resources available, whether for business or personal services,” said North Augusta Chamber President and CEO, Terra Carroll. “Many of the showcase exhibitors are home-based, so this event allows them face time with potential customers to help grow their business clientele.”
Murphy said she loves to watch her customers follow a natural path to better health.
“We have served over 1,000 happy customers over the last three years and look forward to serving the CSRA for many years to come,” she said.
