One furniture store replaces another

Last summer, Badcock Home Furniture & More announced it was closing all of its Georgia Stores. In the fall, the store in Washington’s Corner Shopping Center behind California Dreaming and Longhorn’s Steakhouse shuttered.

In mid-December, the Augusta Furniture Outlet opened its place and has been heavily marketing on Facebook and its website with transparent pricing.

The store is the size of some supermarkets in the CSRA and features a Living room, Dining Room, Bedroom, Mattress, Home Office, and Outdoor Furniture.

Augusta Furniture Outlet is open Monday-Saturday, 10-8, and Sunday, 12-6.

They are one of several locally owned furniture stores within a 10-minute drive, including Great Deals on Furniture and Furniture Outlet on the Bobby Jones Expressway and Furniture Mart at Furys Ferry Road and Baston.

Jordan Trotter Commercial Real Estate manages Washington’s Corner Shopping Center and handles the transaction with Augusta Furniture Outlet.
