With an occasional touch of fall in the morning air and hunting season in the crosshairs, the addition of an outdoor store couldn’t come at a more appropriate time.
Alicia Byars, owner of Autumn Outdoors, is opening in the North Hills Shopping Center, at 401 Martintown Road in North Augusta. The store will focus on men’s apparel and accessories for the outdoorsman.
“God created an opportunity for our family to expand brands beyond our Autumn Grace Boutique, which is two doors away from our new place. We filled a need for requests about men’s clothing at affordable pricing,” Byars explained.

If timing is everything, Byars has that part of business development down pat. Autumn Grace opened in November 2024, just in time for Christmas shopping, with a full line of family clothing and gift items. It was a hit that led to expanding their line.
Their new space was a Hallmark store location for many years and eventually housed the Superior Construction offices. Now, less than a year later, the family has almost doubled their space for clothing and accessories with Autumn Outdoors as hunting season goes into full gear.

“We will carry camo clothing, shoes, fishing rods and reels, rifle cases, hats, polarized sunglasses, and a new brand for this area called Pimp Shrimp Clothing.”
Pimp Shrimp is based in North Carolina and is dedicated to The Coastal Federation’s marine debris program that includes strategies to reduce new debris from happening, everything from microplastics to hurricane debris. That should resonate with anyone living in the path of Hurricane Helene.

Just as Autumn Grace began with help from Alicia’s daughters, Carolina Autumn and Madelyn Grace, which is how the shop got its name, the new business will also have help from her husband, Greg, and their daughters.
A ribbon cutting is scheduled at 2:00 pm on September 19. A Grand Opening will be held on Saturday, September 20, from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Special pricing and giveaways are included in the festivities. You can follow Autumn Outdoors on Facebook here. Their items will also be available online.
