Popular furniture brand to open store in the CSRA

Broad River Retail, one of the largest and fastest-growing independently owned and operated Ashley Store licensees, is bringing Ashley Furniture to Aiken.

Next to Target in the Aiken Exchange Plaza, the new Ashley will occupy the former Aiken Furniture Company. The 25,230-square-foot showroom will showcase Ashley’s latest 7.0 store concept. The showroom is curated to provide shoppers with the newest product offerings inspired by today’s trends. The 7.0 store design features a contemporary open floor plan, an expanded sleep gallery, and stylish interior design elements. The Aiken Ashley represents Broad River Retail’s fifth 7.0 store concept.

According to Manny Rodrigues, Broad River Retail’s Chief Operating Officer, “The robust retail experience in Aiken provides us with a remarkable opportunity to offer a wide variety of home furnishings and sleep products to this market at exceptional values, as well as providing the best customer service in the industry. We look forward to becoming an integral part of this welcoming community for years to come.”

Headquartered in Fort Mill, South Carolina, Broad River Retail owns and operates seven Ashley stores and outlets in South Carolina and an Ashley store and outlet in Augusta, located at 3435 Wrightsboro Road.

The Aiken store will employ 12 people. Positions include management, sales, retail operations, and visual impact. Those interested in becoming a “Memory Maker” at Broad River Retail are encouraged to visit broadriverretail.com/careers.

Broad River Retail intends to open the Ashley store in the spring of 2024.
