Restaurant and Retail update in North Augusta

The #1 item on the wish list for North Augustans has been more restaurants. It’s about to come true later this year. ABDs learned that at least three new eateries have signed on to be part of the new Beacon Bluff’s development adjacent to North Augusta’s Municipal Building.

“Melty,” a national franchise features cheesy melt sandwiches like grilled cheese, burgers, French dip, Ham and Swiss, and much more. Visit www.lovemelty.com to see the full menu of items coming to North Augusta.

Beacon Bluff’s management team was not able to name the other two restaurants, but did tell ABD that one will serve lunch and dinner and will be owned and operated by a company already in the market. The third restaurant is one serving healthy food to take advantage of hundreds of people walking the nearby Greeneway and to be a good referral partner of Fleet Feet’s second location.

The McCauley family posted some “in-progress” photos of their second athletic lifestyle store in the CSRA—with the other one planted in a shopping center at Furys Ferry Road and Riverwatch Parkway. They mentioned via Facebook that they are trying to sprint towards the finish line of opening in Beacon Bluff in May.

Coronis Health (formerly Medac) will occupy an entire floor for its approximately 45 employees. Plans are approved for a courtyard and covered patio for one of the restaurants.

There are about 9,000 square feet of restaurant, retail, and professional office space remaining to lease along with four loft apartments overlooking downtown Augusta.

For leasing information, reach David Brannon, Director of Palmetto Peach Development at 706.910.9110.

Palmetto Peach expects to be able to reveal even more specifics after the Masters tournament.
