Retail Store Closes & Makes Way for New One!

A small business shipping store is about to make downtown Augusta a more colorful destination.

Pretty Package Store will be opening what is believed to be their first retail location on 12th Street near Broad.

A husband-and-wife team with design and business experience created the brand after having challenges finding pretty supplies and packaging to ship out their orders for another business of theirs.

Their durable poly mailers come in different sizes and designs. Their variety pack of approximately 35 (6 x 9, 10 x 12, and 14.5 x 19) mailers is priced at less than 75 cents per envelope.

According to information on www.prettypackagestore.com, they’ve focused on their e-commerce business until now.

Pretty Packaging will be moving into the former Field Botanicals store, which closed for good on Friday.

Owner Jennifer Tinsley retired after 6 years at the clean, independent beauty store on 215 A 12th Street.

She leased the building from the Frog Hollow Hospitality Group, which owns several downtown Augusta buildings and restaurants including Farmhaus, located nearby at 12th and Broad.

ABD will keep you posted on when Pretty Packaging makes its colorful entrance into downtown Augusta.
