Two more restaurants are making plans to open along Wheeler Road and close to Walton Way Extension, where ABD reported 7 Brews Coffee is building on the old Smith’s Chevron property.
On Friday, Jordan Trotter Commercial Real Estate shared details in its monthly newsletter to subscribers. The realtor has leased out three bays in one strip center next to South State Bank and in front of the YMCA running track.
They are also actively offering a ground lease or build-to-suit opportunity on 1.15 acres in a location next to where the strip center will be built.
Surcheros’, a Tex-Mex restaurant, will be opening its second West Augusta location, and Dave’s Hot Chicken, a California-based restaurant, will open its first store in the CSRA and second store in Georgia. Peachtree Immediate Care, part of the Emory Care Health Network, will also be entering the Augusta market.
The parcels of land are being developed across from the Wheeler Road offices of Cadence Bank and Meybohm Real Estate.
ABD will let you know when opening dates are announced for the two restaurants and the urgent care facility.
