Stressed out? There’s a Health Summit for that

Every part of running a business has the potential to stress you out and keep you up at night. Lack of sales, too much debt, issues with employees, and problems with equipment and operations can keep your brain in motion 24/7. It’s not physically or mentally healthy for you or your business.

The Greater Augusta Black Chamber of Commerce might have some advice for you as they wind up their Men in Business month with a Men’s Health Summit Brunch this Saturday, June 24, at 10:00 a.m.

Business owners are prone to burnout due to their struggle to separate stress from productivity. You can tend to feel like if you aren’t stressed out about work; you aren’t working hard enough.

Tara DeLoach is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Augusta. She says, “You have to be willing to invest in yourself as well as your business in order to perform optimally.”

Guest speakers will address physical and mental health and the stresses of everyday business management. For more information or to register for the GABCC Men’s Health Summit to be held at the BEC Plex, 5955 Jefferson Davis Highway, click here.

Tickets are $25 and include refreshments and networking.
