Today’s celebration for new design firm

Mod Home will host a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 4 p.m. at its storefront on 970 Broad Street in Downtown Augusta.

The event is open to the public and a reception will follow with light refreshments. Attendees are encouraged to stay after the ceremony to explore and shop at the location.

Mod Home was created to bring modern-designed furniture that is moderately priced to Augusta. Mod Home offers interior design services, as well as special orders from the showroom floor.

Mod Home is owned by Kayla and Deryl Bosch. Kayla has been passionate about interior design for as long as she can remember. According to Kayla, she enjoys transforming a client’s idea into beautiful, functional design solutions that fit their budget and style.

Whatever room a client hopes to design, Mod Home aims to help customers find the perfect pieces.

An official grand opening event is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
