When a biz break calls for family fun

Summer is right around the corner, and you may be thinking about options to explore with your kids that will not cost you an arm and a leg. From one local to another, I never really thought that a civilian could have such an easy time getting on post, but there are great programs in place just waiting for you to take advantage of all the fun that happens on Fort Eisenhower.

There are options for civilian day passes and an Automatic Installation Entry (AIE) that allows civilians to get a yearly pass attached to the driver’s license that makes for a quick entry at gate 1.

Enjoy activities and food including:

  • Alternate Escapes Café
  • Bingo Palace
  • Domino’s Pizza
  • Presidential Dinner Theatre
  • Five Star Disc Golf
  • Surrey Car Care
  • Eisenhower Lakes Golf Club & Bogeyʼs Grill
  • Five Star Lanes & Keglerʼs Café
  • Eisenhower Conference & Catering
  • Hilltop Riding Stable
  • Lift-A-Latte snack bar
  • Me Meʼs & Bo Boʼs Chinese
  • MWR Café
  • Outdoor Pool & Spray Park
  • Pointes West Army Resort
  • Tactical Advantage Sportsmanʼs Complex
  • Special Events & Festivals

Be prepared to come early and make a day or year of it at Fort Eisenhower.

Register for a day pass here.

To apply for an AIE, visit any MWR facility. Bring two forms of identification (driver’s license, social security card, passport, and/or birth certificate), and MWR staff will complete the form with you.
