$10 Million construction on pace at the P.I.

Four months down and six weeks to go for Holly White, the new General Manager of the iconic Partridge Inn.

New General Manager Holly White is behind the front desk check-in area and says there will be minimal changes to the front lobby.

“Next week will be really hectic around here,” the 17-year hospitality veteran said.  Installers will start putting in mirrors, carpeting and more in guest rooms, while work continues on the outside to the famed Partridge Inn Veranda and porches (see above photo).

White is really proud of the rooftop bar area at the P.I., long considered one of the best views in the CSRA—which will be preserved.

She explained the guest rooms in the Penthouse are being replaced with lounge set-ups, an Oyster Bar and seating areas for lunches and small plates in the evening time.

Cosmetically, the color palettes of the rooms will make each room brighter, with a nod to yesteryear.

“Each room is different,” she added

That will include enhancements like 55-inch flat screens, bedding and much more.

Here is a look at some of the renderings of what the Partridge Inn will look like this spring.

The bar area in the main restaurant will have a full 360-degree wrap around feel.

The Partridge Inn is expected to re-open on March 1st and allows for special touches to be added before the 2022 Masters tournament.

There are 143 guest rooms at the Partridge Inn, which is located on Walton Way in the historic Summerville neighborhood of Augusta.

The hotel began life in the 1890’s as a modest two-story private residence, opening as The Partridge Inn in 1910.
