Local business collects items for Kentucky tornado relief

Two local business leaders have teamed up to collect items for tornado victims. Harris Weinstein – President of KAMO Facility & Supplies and Darryl Leech – Vice President and General Manager of Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center, want to help those affected by the tornadoes that swept across Kentucky (see photo above) on Friday, Dec. 10 and Saturday, Dec. 11. TaxSlayer to host Gator Bowl on New Year’s Eve

For the 11th year, a local online tax preparation company will sponsor a college bowl game. TaxSlayer, LLC will sponsor the 77th annual Gator Bowl, which will be played at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville on Friday, Dec. 31 beginning at 11 a.m. Wake Forest University will take on Texas A&M University.
