When Serotta Maddocks Evans CPAs was founded, Harry Truman was President of the United States. The accounting firm recently celebrated its 70th anniversary. Founded in 1952 by Elliott Serotta, SME CPAs was originally called Bell & Serotta. Homebuilders celebrate strong sales despite many challenges in 2021

Despite facing challenges related to covid, rising prices on materials and workforce shortages, local home builders still recorded a strong year for new home sales. To celebrate, the Builders Association and Sales and Marketing Council of Metro Augusta honored many of these professionals at its 2021 Stellar Awards ceremony on Tuesday, March 8 at the West Lake Country Club. “Despite all the challenges with supply costs, availability and workforce, we had a phenomenal year in new home sales,” said Tiffany Heitzman, Executive Officer of the Builders Association of Metro Augusta.
