Local school gets $1.6 Million grant to create jobs in the CSRA

Augusta Technical College continues to re-imagine our future workforce with a strong emphasis on technology. Late yesterday, Dr. Jermaine Whirl, President of Augusta Tech, shared the news of a $1.6 million grant. The U.S. Dept. of Education Predominantly Black Institutions Formula grant will be spread out over five years.
