As entrepreneurs, it’s important to stay informed on topics that affect your business, home, and family. The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce is giving you the opportunity to hear updates from community leaders and network with other business owners.
The Chamber will host its annual State of the Community on Thursday, Sept. 8, from 4 -8 p.m. at the Columbia County Performing Arts Center.
The event will include a business expo and presentations from Fort Gordon Garrison Commander, Col. Reggie Evans; Columbia County School District Superintendent, Dr. Steven Flynt; and County Manager with the Columbia County Board of Commissioners, Scott Johnson. Video updates from Grovetown and Harlem will also be provided.

“With all the exciting things happening here in Columbia County, the Chamber’s State of the Community is a great way for our businesses and residents to hear firsthand what our county, cities, and partners at Fort Gordon and the school district are working on,” said President and CEO, Russell Lahodny. “I’d encourage anyone who lives or works in Columbia County to join us and connect with other members of the community.”
The cost is $25 for Chamber members and $35 for non-members. For more information or to register for the event, visit business.columbiacountychamber.com/events/details/2022-state-of-the-community-address-18960?calendarMonth=2022-09-01.
