There’s nothing like sitting down to Saturday brunch, but next month, the Aiken Downtown Development Authority will give attendees a chance to enjoy it while visiting retail shops and restaurants located in that area. People living and working in Augusta will no longer have to drive to Evans to enjoy fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, and other Southern favorites. Today, Goolsby’s will celebrate the grand opening of its second location at 3122 Wrightsboro Road, across the street from Forest Hills Golf Club.
