Texas-based salad restaurant company plans franchises in Augusta locations

A growing restaurant chain plans to expand by launching new franchise locations in Augusta, possibly as early as next year, according to Julie Davis. Davis, Vice President of franchise development for Salata Salad Kitchen, said the Houston-based company already has 10 locations throughout the Atlanta area. Party bike business to ride into Augusta

Yesterday, the Augusta Commission voted to approve Pedal Pub Bar & Patio’s plan to launch a new location in Augusta, according to Commissioner, Brandon Garrett. The business is coming to 305 12th St. based on a Facebook post from the Downtown Development Authority of Augusta. A Pedal Pub is a multi-passenger party bike that looks like a mobile bar, but the bike has no engine. Instead, the passengers move it by pedaling.
