In November, owners of The Bee’s Knees, a downtown eatery that specialized in tapas, decided to close its doors after many years in business. But its former home is now available for lease, according to the Finem Group with Meybohm Commercial Properties. ATI Restoration, America’s largest family-operated restoration contractor, has announced the buyout of Venturi Restoration with an office in Augusta and in 16 other states. New amendment caps cost of James Brown Arena construction

Cost overruns on major construction projects are common, but an amendment has been approved to ensure that doesn’t happen in building the new James Brown Arena.
