Simon Says: Economic indicators sending mixed signals about a recession

Last week, I gave my annual economic forecast for 2023 at Augusta University. For those who were unable to attend, I discussed three indicators of recessions. Two members of a global renewable energy group of companies recently purchased a building in Augusta, according to Jordan Trotter Commercial Real Estate. TEXEL Energy Innovations Inc. and Transition Energy Inc. bought an 11,000-square-foot garage/flex space located at 1228 Gordon Highway.
