Plans to Locate Copper Foil Manufacturer Plant and Headquarters in Augusta

A company that makes copper parts for the aerospace and defense industries – and now electric vehicles – plans to build a manufacturing plant in Richmond County. Gov. Brian Kemp announced on Wednesday that Denkai America, a manufacturer of high-quality electrodeposited (ED) copper foil used in printed electronics, will locate its new manufacturing facility and North American Headquarters on a 115-acre site in Augusta Corporate Park in Richmond County. Recteq donation increases Master’s Table’s ability to serve

Rideshare app for women now available in Augusta

In 2019, Samantha Josephson, a 21-year-old University of South Carolina student, was murdered after getting into the car of a man she mistook for an Uber driver. To prevent crimes like that, a national company has developed a rideshare app specifically for women. Trips 4 Women, which was developed in 2019 to provide secure transportation for women and their children, is now available in Augusta. The app can be used to book, confirm and track rides.
