New Goodwill Donation Center at Popular Restaurant

As of yesterday, you can now eat, drink, and donate at Dave and Buster’s in Augusta. A Goodwill donation truck will be parked daily at the 807 Cabela Drive location from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM. This new donation center marks an expansion of Goodwill’s reach in the CSRA. Donations, including clothing and household items, will directly support Goodwill’s mission to help individuals in the community achieve greater financial independence through job skill training, career coaching, and education. Simon Says: Mixed job news after COVID correction

Last week, the Bureau of Labor Statistics adjusted employment numbers for Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs) in the U.S. to accommodate updated information and census data. The revisions go back to 2020. For Augusta, this meant a revision downwards of employment numbers totaling 6,000 over the last four years.
