SRS apprentice program is a win-win

In 2020, Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) and the Lower Savannah Council of Governments (LSCOG) established an apprenticeship program to address attrition levels and create a pipeline that supports a healthy and thriving workforce. Georgia film tax credit survives legislative review

The Georgia Legislature passed hundreds of bills, both statewide items and those addressing local concerns, in the just-ended 2024 legislative session and sent them to Gov. Brian Kemp (R) for his signature. House Bill 1180 was not among them which is good news for movie-making in Georgia. The bill would have revised one of the state’s most popular tax credit incentives, the one available to filmmakers to entice them to film productions in the Peach State. DIY franchise closing in CSRA; other location remains

An Evans franchisee decided to close up shop after three years in business. April Barbin and Lindsay Gay posted on Facebook that they were closing their AR Workshop. According to their website, they are cousins by marriage and best friends.
