SRP Credit Union will give a boost to small business owners with two seminars in October. Next week, SRP will host a Small Business Power Lunch focusing on financial wellness. A Superior Court judge dismissed a defamation case against WGAC and talk show host, Austin Rhodes Tuesday afternoon, saying the defendant, James Faller, did not have sufficient evidence to prove clear and actual malice. Faller had filed the suit against Rhodes, claiming that in a show aired in January 2021 and subsequent broadcasts, Rhodes made false and malicious statements about him that damaged his reputation. Last year, 40 people graduated from the Salvation Army Kroc Center’s Job Skills Training Program, and of those, 80 percent found immediate employment, according to Chris Bailey. Bank of America recently donated $20,000 to the program. A 13-year-old boy has been arrested for an armed robbery that happened at GameStop on Deans Bridge Road on Saturday, July 9. While such crimes may appear to be random, and there is little businesses can do to prevent them, that’s not always the case, according to Capt.
