Insurance agents team up to support local nonprofit

A local Christian nonprofit that provides medical and dental services for uninsured and underserved people just received a $7,500 grant, thanks to a team of Augusta State Farm agents. Founded in 2007, Christ Community Health has two clinics in downtown Augusta located at 1226 D’Antignac St. and 127 Telfair St. The agents who presented the check on Thursday, Oct. 7 were Eddie Bussey, Matt Willis, Mike Ingham, and BJ Jordan. According to the State Farm website, the company supports various nonprofits throughout the U.S. through its Good Neighbor Citizenship Company
