CSRA construction company moving to downtown Augusta

A local construction company is preparing to move into a 106-year-old building in downtown Augusta.

Allen+Batchelor Construction, Inc. is completing renovations on the former Simkins Seed Company building on Jones Street in downtown Augusta. Once these renovations are complete, the company will move into the building. (Photo taken from Facebook)

Allen+Batchelor Construction, Inc. is relocating its operations from 1063 Franke Industrial Drive to 1118 Jones St., the former home of Simkins Seed Company (see photo above story) and a few doors away from Ubora Coffee Shop.

Allen+Batchelor is currently renovating its new location, according to a news release from the company. “We look forward to planting Allen+Batchelor’s headquarters in the middle of the bustling and vibrant atmosphere that Broad Street offers,” the release states. “We are excited to see the many ways we can better serve our clients and the CSRA community from our new space.”

Founded in 1994, the company has completed a variety of constructions projects throughout the CSRA, including Augusta Christian Schools, Augusta Oncology, and Stevens Creek Church’s South Augusta location. For more information, visit allenbatchelor.com or call 706-868-6534.
