For the third year in a row, Aiken Regional Medical Centers has been named by U.S. News & World Report as a High Performing hospital for Heart Attack and Heart Failure. This is the highest award a hospital can earn for the publication’s Best Hospitals Procedures & Conditions ratings.
U.S. News evaluated nearly 5,000 hospitals across 15 specialties and 20 procedures and conditions. Hospitals awarded a “Best” designation excelled at factors such as clinical outcomes, level of nursing care, and patient experience.

Aiken Regional earned High Performing ratings for Heart Attack and Heart Failure in recognition of care that was significantly better than the national average, as measured by factors such as patient outcomes. The annual Procedures & Conditions ratings are designed to assist patients and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive care for challenging health conditions or elective procedures.
