The owners of Endurance Fitness were prepared to open a second location in Evans in January 2022, just in time to help people launch their New Years’ resolutions. But after months of anticipation and construction, ABD has learned that the location will no longer open.
For months, Cliff and Amanda Jennings heavily promoted the fitness center at 4099 River Watch Parkway, the former home of the Playhouse, through social media and billboard advertising.
While Columbia County won’t have Endurance Fitness, the couple still owns and operates a successful location at 125 Merovan Drive in North Augusta. Endurance offers 60-minute, high-intensity circuit training classes at various times throughout the day, including early mornings and evenings.

They offer classes for both children and adults, and all workouts can be modified based on a client’s fitness level.
“You’ll never do the same workout twice,” Cliff said in an interview last summer.
We also reached out to Blanchard and Calhoun Commercial –the center’s management company—and as of press time has not gotten back to us.
