So here we go!
1. Lack of a Mobile-Friendly Website – This is a serious problem. Having an outdated website is like wandering around in a park with a big sign that says, “I don’t care about my customers (or getting new customers).” It’s time to get with the times – make sure your website is responsive on all devices. A mobile-friendly website is essential in today’s market if you want to stay competitive.
2. Not prioritizing SEO – This is like leaving money on the table! You’re missing out on valuable traffic and potential customers if you’re not optimizing your website for search engines. SEO should be a priority for any business that wants to succeed online.
3. Targeting the wrong audience – The wrong target audience is like a box of chocolates: you never know what you’re going to get. (Special thanks to Forrest Gump for the inspiration). We cannot overstate the importance of identifying the right target audience – it is essential to the success of any campaign.
4. Not having a marketing investment strategy – Without a campaign or investment strategy, you’re basically just winging it! That is like driving without a map (and not listening to your significant other). Sure, you might get lucky now and then, and reach your location, but eventually, you’re going to end up spending time and money that you didn’t need to spend.

5. Throwing money around on paid ads (without a plan) – this goes back to #3. If you are going to spend money on paid ads like Facebook, Google, or LinkedIn, make sure you target the right prospects for your company. I believe paid ads can be a great way to get your brand out there, but it’s important to be mindful of your budget. Overspending on paid ads to the wrong audience can be a quick way to blow through your marketing budget.
6. Not fully using social media – If you’re looking to expand the reach of your content, social media is a great place to start. With platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, you can reach a wide variety of people with just a few clicks. Just remember to create great content – promotion is only half the battle!
7. Not having patience for results – Don’t expect results immediately – this stuff takes time! It takes patience and time to see the changes you want. Keep at it.
