Bank of America is going to continue its mission and flow of money in 2022 to support economic mobility and broader community vitality in Augusta and Aiken.
In 2021, Bank of America donated $814,000 to 21 local non-profits.
“We engage with the community to support and drive social progress like racial equality,” said Ora Parish, Bank of America President, Augusta/Aiken.
As an example, B of A contributed $125,000 in 2021, and many services to the Greater Augusta Black Chamber of Commerce, which includes all minority business owners and women as well.
“Our leadership teams all live and work in Augusta and Aiken and assess many worthy applications,” added Parish
Contributions by Bank of America corporate are part of a $1.25 billion initiative.
“We all serve as a catalyst as leaders to advance economic opportunities for all, innovative approaches and meaningful progress,” added Parish.
