Local entrepreneur launches Columbia County spiritual wellness business

Much like churches, there seems to be a CBD store on every corner. But Stephanie Carter didn’t want to open just another CBD store, so her business offers many other products and services.

Carter launched Purple Bloomz located at 4158 Washington Road, Suite 3 in Evans on Friday, Aug. 12. Like other such local businesses, she offers a variety of CBD products designed to ease stress, depression, and anxiety, among other common ailments. Some products contain THC, while others don’t. One product Carter sells is THC-O, a strong THC product designed to provide significant pain relief for arthritis and cancer patients.

“Everybody doesn’t want to take medicine anymore,” she said. “People are getting tired of it.”

Carter admits some products can make customers very relaxed, but the effects are much different from those caused by smoking marijuana.

Federal law mandates that if a product contains less than 0.3% THC, it’s not classified as a controlled substance. None of the items she sells exceed that threshold, but customers must be at least 21 to buy CBD products.

While CBD products are typically associated with relaxation, some also provide increased energy and focus.

“We ask them what they’re looking for,” Carter said.

Besides CBD products, she also helps customers get rid of negative energy with a variety of items such as sage, crystals, and incense. Carter plans to offer various services, such as foot detox and yoni steaming, a vaginal detox process.

She also wants to provide training and supplies to women interested in performing these services for others. Carter will give them a business plan and help them get their LLC.

For those who don’t feel comfortable going to the store, Purple Bloomz provides shipping, off-site pickup, and home delivery services.

“We’re not just a CBD store; We offer all kinds of things,” she said.

Carter also owns Breath of Life Training, which provides various healthcare certifications, such as medical assistant and phlebotomy technician.

Purple Bloomz is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. For more information, call 706-305-9689.

  1. Her name is Stephanie Carter not just Carter & she’s a WHOLE scam! The school included. I would be very cautious of anything she sells! I thought selling weed was illegal in Georgia because I’m positive she’s selling the real stuff in there. The streets are talking and her boyfriend was in jail for selling cocaine & other weed . So be careful !
