Local pet bakery to relocate and expand to Columbia County

A local pet bakery and grooming business will soon have two locations in the CSRA.

Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming is relocating from 2907 Washington Road, Suite 204 in the Washington Crossing Shopping Center near Bonefish Grill to 2701 Washington Road in the National Hills Shopping Center. The new location was formerly occupied by the Legends Club and Simon’s Formal Wear. Summer Bennett – Manager and Co-owner of the local franchise, says she and her business partner, Dean King, plan to complete the move by the end of December. “We are also opening a new location in Evans,” Bennett states. “We won’t carry dog food at that location.” Instead, the new store, which will be located in the Evans Crossing Shopping Center near Kroger, will offer a variety of items, including collars, leashes, and toys. “Hopefully, Evans will be open after the New Year.”

Founded in 2007, Woof Gang Bakery has more than 150 franchises throughout the U.S. stores sell a variety of foods and baked goods for both dogs and cats. The company also provides pet spa and grooming services. The Augusta location is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, visit woofgangbakery.com or call 706-426-6212.
