New limo service offers a ride in style

You could call a cab or an Uber, but if you need a lift, Jan Friday can deliver something more stylish. His Aiken chauffeur service, Prime Express, LLC is open for business and promises a great ride for you and your kids, a group of best friends, or business associates.

This is not his first trip around the block. Friday worked for another limo service, SC Express, before venturing out on his own.

“I’ve learned that it’s important for customers to feel safe with their driver, so I’ve spent the past couple of months getting everything in place including all the state regulation paperwork and commercial insurance,” he explained.

Now, Friday is ready to roll, whether you’re flying in or out of town on business and need a ride to the airport, planning a night in the town, or for any special occasion when you want to be chauffeured in style.

Prime Express offers a little extra for their passengers.

Jan Friday, the owner of Prime Express limo service, always sports a bowtie.

“I always wear a bow tie as will our drivers, so we’ll be known as the ‘Bowtie Guys,’ and I am a self-proclaimed ‘Ambassador of Aiken.’

Friday has been here since 1975 and loves to brag on Aiken and share some history along the way about the Wilcox and other points of interest. During his career, Friday has experienced some primetime passengers.

“I’ve driven for Governor Nikki Haley, LeBron James, Martin Lawrence, Jimmy Buffet, and the manager for JLo and Ben Affleck,” he said. “I’ve had business owners conduct multi-million dollar deals behind my driver’s seat.”

In case you are visualizing a stretch limousine, Friday drives a GMC Terrain Denali and plans to add a Suburban to his fleet in a couple of months. The stretch is still used to shuttle the rich and famous but many of today’s limo services feature SUV-type vehicles.

Whatever you are riding in, Friday vows to treat you like a star and make your trip unforgettable. To book your next lift with Prime Express, you can reach Jan Friday at 803-448-4423.
