Solid state advice for new computer purchase

So, you are looking to get a new computer, but are not sure what to look for when selecting one? Today, we are going to give you some items to consider that will not only serve you well, but also save you money.

It is not necessary to select the 12th generation i7 model of computers that will cost you a small fortune. It is okay to select a computer that is a few years old if you have the right components inside.

Storage is very important. Cross Link Consulting has not recommended a spinning disk for storage in many years, instead, we recommend NVME Solid State storage. These will last you for at least 6 years.

Additionally, you will need to look for at least 16 gigs of RAM.

You will be able to find a computer with these specifications from Dell or a vendor like Cross Link Consulting for less than $1000.

Bottom line when selecting your next computer is for you not to skimp on the storage and opt for solid-state storage over the larger spinning desks for your storage needs.

Selecting a computer can be costly and confusing with all the options available. If you need a helpful hand in the industry to help you narrow your search, Cross Link Consulting can help. Call us at 803-279-1100 or email us at info@crosslinkconsulting.net
