Special Event for SRS workers

Giving Home Health Care just opened for business in the Augusta-Aiken area. They are integrating the company into the CSRA with a complimentary lunch and educational session for some former and current nuclear workers.

Giving Home Health Care started in 2012 and is now serving in 13 states. The GHHC team brings extensive experience working with eligible workers and their families, helping them understand the program and the care services available for qualifying work-related illnesses.

The company wants former workers to understand the steps they can take to explore potential benefits up to $400,000 and know where to turn for guidance about in-home care options.

The event is specifically for former SRS workers, workers with DOE-related health conditions, or atomic weapons workers with a “white card”-awarded federal medical benefits for an occupational illness.

This is all part of navigating the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA).
