The University of Georgia’s Small Business Development Center invites local business owners to participate in its Strategic Growth Academy this upcoming October.
The program is targeted towards business owners to help them learn about strategic planning as a way to grow their business.
According to the course description, attendants must be able to attend each of the classes and will work in groups, using case studies to develop strategies.
The class will meet on Tuesdays, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for the following dates on each of the listed topics:
Oct. 10, 2023 – What is a strategic growth plan and why should I do it?
Oct. 17, 2023 – Human Resource requirements and considerations to implement a strategic plan.
Oct. 24, 2023 – Marketing needed to support your plan (Internal & External)
Oct. 31, 2023 – Accounting & Finance – Do the numbers justify the project?
The sessions will be held at the UGA Small Business Development Center in Augusta, located at 2907 Professional Parkway Suite B, Augusta, Ga. 30907.
