Workshop to provide important updates for small business owners

Small business owners are facing an ever-changing climate, so it’s essential they remain current on topics that affect their businesses. The University of Georgia’s Small Business Development Center wants to help local business leaders stay informed on these topics.

The center will host its Eighth Annual CEO Breakfast Workshop on Wednesday, Jan. 19 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Snelling Conference Center located at 3165 Washington Road, Suite D near Goodwill in Augusta. The workshop will feature three speakers:

  • Alison Couch – owner of Couch Consulting, LLC – a company that provides bookkeeping and accounting services for small businesses.
  • Jo-anne Frey/Adam Williams from the Cleveland Group Certified Public Accountants, which provides a variety of services for business owners, including accounting, bookkeeping, tax planning, and business consulting.
  • Ed Enoch – attorney with Enoch Tarver Law in Augusta – will share legal updates that affect small business owners.

The cost to attend the workshop is $39, and a hot breakfast will be served. To register, visit ugasbdc.training/aug/ceobreakfast.
