Coffee giant to put the heat on nearby competitors

Look out Starbucks and Rooted, a new competitor is coming to Evans. Dunkin’ Donuts, which has several CSRA shops, including Wheeler, Washington and Furys Ferry Road, is building a new location just a block away from the Riverwood shopping center. The Patel family, which owns all the local Dunkin’ shops, is building the location in a new development called Eclipse at Riverwood. The Patels originally bought land in Riverwood, but they changed their mind because they didn’t want to be too close to three competitors: Rooted Coffeehouse, Starbucks and McDonald’s.
