Best in Business awards presented to SRS contractor and staffing company

On Wednesday, Dec. 8, the Augusta’s Entrepreneur Award was presented to Charlie Wall and Jason Kennedy – Co-founders of Loop Recruiting, during the Augusta Metro Chambers’ Member Economic Luncheon at the Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center. Columbia County Chamber raising funds to build local workforce

Every year, nonprofits, such as churches and colleges, solicit donations for Giving Tuesday, but this year, the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce Foundation wants to raise funds to address the local labor shortage. “We will be accepting Giving Tuesday donations until the end of the week (Friday, Dec. 3),” says Olivia Reich, the Chamber’s Communications Manager. “We are at $2,250, and our goal is $5,000.” That was the total at about 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30.
