Construction is underway at Paws in Paradise to keep up with the growing demand for pet grooming and boarding in Columbia County. Paws in Paradise Luxury Resort and Spa, 4319 Evans to Locks Road, Evans, is adding two new buildings next to its current facility. Yesterday, the Augusta Commission voted to approve Pedal Pub Bar & Patio’s plan to launch a new location in Augusta, according to Commissioner, Brandon Garrett. The business is coming to 305 12th St. based on a Facebook post from the Downtown Development Authority of Augusta. A Pedal Pub is a multi-passenger party bike that looks like a mobile bar, but the bike has no engine. Instead, the passengers move it by pedaling.
