Local florist to relocate business in next few months

A popular downtown florist has announced he will relocate his business in late spring or early summer. Brent Slagle, owner of Flowers on Broad, will move his shop from its current location at 1018 Broad St. to 1030 Greene St. (see photo above story). The shop sells and delivers floral arrangements for a variety of occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and Valentine’s Day. Event to help businesses manage electronic waste

The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce wants to help local companies properly dispose of their electronic waste. That will be the topic of this month’s Third Thursday Business Builder on Thursday, Feb. 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Chamber conference room. Dessert business to launch second CSRA location

If you’re like most people, you have a sweet tooth that only a decadent dessert will satisfy. A local dessert shop is expanding by opening a second location in Columbia County. Augusta chosen over 350+ cities for tourism honor

Lindsay Fruchtl of Destination Augusta, just gave a 30-minute audio tour of the Garden City and area businesses and community activities. The CBS affiliate in Atlanta chose Augusta as the first city to be profiled.
