
AU Health one of the few hospitals complying with the price transparency law
Augusta University Health was one of only eight Georgia hospitals found to be compliant with a national price transparency law in a survey reported by PatientRightsAdvocate.org. A national law enacted on Jan. 1, 2021, requires hospitals to list prices as a single machine-readable standard charges file and to include a standard charges display with actual prices or a price estimator tool for the 300 most common shoppable services.
