This weekend, a local business will host a meeting designed to address food insecurity in the CSRA. Local baker, caterer to launch south Augusta storefront in early January

Tawanda Higgs-Harris wants to bring a new type of business to south Augusta, which is why she’s launching her own bakery and catering company in that part of town. Local light display serves as holiday tradition for many CSRA families

Every November and December, Mark Jackson loves to see families spending time together and enjoying a festive holiday experience. The Community Foundation for the CSRA has announced that more than $616,000 will be awarded to local non-profit organizations, thanks to help from individual donors and community partners, such as the Masters Tournament. Columbia County farm owner to offer goat yoga class this weekend

Jeanette Norris loves kids, whether they have two legs or four. Norris, a pediatrician and owner of a 10-acre farm off Columbia Road in Grovetown, will offer her first goat yoga class on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Peaceful Warrior Apothecary, 324 South Belair Road, Martinez. Local antique shop begins first week in new spot

After being closed for three months, a local antique shop re-opened in its new location on Friday. Mema Had One has relocated from 2328 Washington Road to 135 Davis Road across the street from Good Earth Produce & Garden Center. The former location closed on Aug. 31.
