Luncheon thanks military personnel, honors local business

Savannah Rapids Pavilion was decked out in red, white, and blue as 375 attended an annual luncheon to honor local active duty and retired military personnel. A highlight of the program was announcing the recipient of The Patriot Award. Nation’s largest CyberPatriot Camp x2

This week, more than 150 students are in town for the largest CyberPatriot Camp ever held. The camp hosted by the Alliance for Fort Eisenhower began yesterday and runs through Friday, June 7. The so-called Standard CyberPatriot Camp is designed for beginners with no prior cybersecurity knowledge and covers topics such as the CyberPatriot competition, cybersecurity careers, cyber ethics, online safety, computer fundamentals, virtual machines, and cyber threats.
