Horsin’ around in the CSRA on Derby weekend is big business

It’s a big week for horses in Kentucky and Aiken, SC. Not unusual for either location. There is a connection between the two. Thoroughbreds helped build Aiken into a destination for horse lovers and visitors from the north who fell in love with the city and moved here. The breed is also for racing in the bluegrass state of Kentucky and for steeplechase and other horse shows in Aiken. New businesses move into Grovetown

Three new businesses have located on a side strip of the Walmart on Steiner Way in Grovetown. At the time, there was only one vacancy alongside AT&T and Navy Federal Credit Union. Through negotiations, Meybohm realtor, Mark Pritchett, was able to relocate AT&T and brought in Smoothie Tropical Café, Sophia Nails, and another location for Evans Rehab Physical Therapy (ERW). Former event space turned café

Starting at 11 this morning, the team at TBONZ Augusta and Evans will have a new mission and use for the old Washington Hall on 2860 Washington Road in Augusta. Thrift store opens its 5th Georgia location in Augusta

America’s Thrift Stores opened its newest store yesterday at 270 Bobby Jones Expressway, next to Walmart. When ABD arrived around 11 yesterday morning, more than 100 shoppers were perusing the aisles.
