Family opens CSRA fitness business this Friday

It’s not a stretch. A husband and wife team with strong medical backgrounds, plan to open six locations of StretchLab in Georgia, with the first opening this weekend in Evans.

Located at 620 Mullins Colony in the same shopping center as Belks, the new studio will introduce people of all ages and fitness levels to the various health and wellness benefits of working with highly trained Flexologists™ in an open, modern, environment.

StretchLab Evans is owned by husband-and-wife duo, Pat and Shirley Wulf, franchisees with first-hand experience in the life-changing benefits of assisted stretching.

After a 25-year career in the pharmaceutical industry, Shirley Wulf first introduced her husband to the StretchLab concept after visiting a location in Sarasota, FL. Pat Wulf, brings to their new Evans business a wealth of previous experience in operating a healthcare consultant firm for large hospitals and physician groups. The couple were convinced that the StretchLab concept was a worthy investment due to its ability to change lives for the better.

“Like many of our members at StretchLab in Evans, Pat and I are very active people with a passion for biking, pickleball, and various other outdoor activities,” said Shirley Wulf. “If it weren’t for our regular assisted stretches at StretchLab, we recognize that we would not be able to participate in these activities as much as we do now. We’re confident in saying that StretchLab has truly elevated our quality of life and cannot wait to further share our experience with more local community members at our new location in Evans.”

Monthly memberships are available for four or eight visits per month, as well as stretch packages of 5 or 10 stretches.

The Evans studio will also offer its members access to the 3D MAPS machine, a revolutionary technology that identifies movement inefficiencies across four critical categories: Mobility, Activation, Posture, and Symmetry.

The Wulf’s main competitor will be former Evans Fitness co-founder, Mike Montarbo and his InMotion Wellness Studio. He’s been able to open four studios in just a few years, including one just a few miles from StretchLab in front of the Riverwood Subdivision in Evans, along with studios in Summerville, Grovetown, and Aiken.

In a previous interview with an ABD reporter, Montarbo said:

“Our motto says it all – Power of Process. Our goal is to help people of all ages and walks of life. We work with teens with sports injuries, people suffering from autoimmune diseases and cancer, and aging clients in their 70’s and 80’s who just want a better quality of life.”
