Local thinktank offers free guidance for entrepreneurs

One of the next three Tuesdays may change your mind about going into business or not.

Every Tuesday through August 9, theClubhou.se is hosting complimentary business viability workshops. Various business leaders from the non-profit incubator and the community will help entrepreneurs examine their business idea, review numbers to evaluate business potential, develop a clearer vision of the business and determine the next steps for growing their business.

“This is a working workshop,” said Eric Parker, founder of theClubhou.se. “We want entrepreneurs to be prepared to bear down to the heart of their business. We’ll take a deep dive into your finances and market to help you know where you need to focus your efforts in the early days of your business. All you need is a computer, internet access, and the willingness to be honest about what you hope to create.”

Eric Parker, founder of theClubhou.se

The virtual workshops are a way for entrepreneurs to dip their toes in the business waters and “audition” in advance of a 12-week entrepreneurial training course that will be held starting in the fall.

That course, funded through grants, banks, and investors, will explore the details of business planning, technology, financing, and legal information. Financial aid is available for this virtual course.
