Next generation of cybersecurity professionals in training at camp

With recent reports of cyber attacks in the CSRA and around the country, it’s good to know the CyberPatriot summer camp program is training future leaders in the cybersecurity field. About 50 students, ages 10 to 16 from area schools are learning the importance of cyber safety and the basics of cybersecurity this week.

The Fort Gordon Cyber District – Alliance for Cyber Education (ACE) team is hosting an Air Force Association (AFA) CyberPatriot Summer Camp at the Aiken Technical College campus.

Instructors from NSA Georgia, Army Cyber Command, and units across Fort Gordon are assisting with this effort to locally grow cyber talent to fill the region’s vast shortage of cyber workers.
